How Booking Works

From enquiry to call time

Send the project type, the date, the location, how many people need hair and makeup, how many days, and any references you are working from. The more specific the enquiry, the faster a rate quote comes back. Alaina replies within forty-eight hours, Monday to Friday, with availability and a quote. The booking is confirmed once date and rate are agreed in writing; larger shoots may take a deposit.

On the day, Alaina arrives sixty to ninety minutes before call time so setup is done before the first face sits down, then stays for touch-ups through the production.

Lead times

Editorial and commercial shoots run two to four weeks out, and same-week availability is sometimes possible for rush work - ask rather than assume. Multi-day broadcast is best locked four to six weeks ahead of production. Weddings book three to twelve months out, with the trial four to eight weeks before the date.

Where the kit travels

Orlando and Central Florida are home ground. Statewide Florida, national and international work are all regular, as are destination weddings. Travel costs - flights, accommodation, per diem - are billed to the production above the artistry day rate. For multi-talent call sheets, additional artists can be staffed from a vetted network; flag the head count when you enquire.

What information do you need to quote a project?+
Project type (editorial, commercial, broadcast, bridal, etc.), shoot date, location, talent count, day count, and any creative references. The more specific, the faster the turnaround on a rate quote.
Do you offer trials before bridal jobs?+
Yes. Bridal bookings include a trial run in Orlando approximately four to eight weeks before the wedding date, so looks are finalized under shoot-day lighting.
Can Alaina hire additional artists for a large shoot?+
Yes. Masters Artistry built and led a team of twelve Orlando-based HMUAs for NBC Sports and can scale up via a vetted artist network for multi-talent productions.
What is your typical response time?+
