Alaina DeBernardis represents a real-life celebrator of the human body. What began as a small business venture in college — charging her sorority sisters for hair and makeup before special occasions — flourished into a passion-driven career.

While in college, Alaina worked part-time for MAC Cosmetics in Orlando, FL. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, she became a full-time MAC employee and stayed with the company for a year and a half before moving back to South Florida to pursue a career in sales.

Never letting her passion fall by the wayside, she maintained an active freelance schedule — providing hair and makeup services for local weddings and special events. Word spread. Alaina's popularity grew. She quit her sales job, started a freelance company with a friend, and made hair-and-makeup artistry her full-time career.

Relationships with her clients connected her to Overflow Productions. As a member of their production team, she learned the dynamic of set life while continuing to maintain the responsibilities of her freelance company.

In 2015, she was offered the opportunity to work for Golf Channel as the head of their makeup department. She promptly accepted and started her own company, Masters Artistry. Alaina hired twelve of the best HMUAs in Orlando, and they single-handedly took over all of Golf Channel's beauty needs. Masters Artistry remained the sole provider for in-studio and remote hair-and-makeup services for the NBC Sports company until their departure from Orlando, FL to NBC Sports HQ in Stamford, CT in 2021.

Alaina's dynamic personality, attentiveness to detail, and ability to make everyone around her feel at ease have generated continued achievements. In succession with Masters Artistry's growth, Alaina's freelancing business has continued to thrive.

In Sport.

Sports have always been an integral element in Alaina's life — so it should come as no surprise that the bulk of her work is within the sports-industry realm. Magazine covers include ESPN The Magazine with Nick Bosa and Juan Soto; the ESPN Body Issue with Greg Norman, Brooks Koepka, the USA Women's National Ice Hockey Team, Charlotte Flair, Novlene Williams-Mills and Ryan Dungey; Men's Health with Greg Norman; The Red Bulletin with female surf phenom Caroline Marks; and the EA Sports NFL Madden video-game cover with Odell Beckham Jr. The Adidas track-and-field clothing line shoot featured Tori Bowie, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Blanka Vlasic.

Partnership work continues with elite athletes — Major Champions Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Greg Norman, Cameron Smith, Gary Woodland, Cristie Kerr, Brittany Lincicome, Nelly Korda and Gaby Lopez. Baseball superstars Bryce Harper for Under Armour, Aaron Judge and Super Bowl Champion Travis Kelce for Drink Accelerator. Derek Jeter and Wayne Gretzky for their newly launched apparel line Greatness Wins. And Super Bowl Champions Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

Beyond the camera lens.

In addition to Alaina's extensive work with countless elite athletes, she is also a highly sought-after lifestyle and advertising HMUA, collaborating with an expansive and ever-evolving clientele. Alaina's talents extend far beyond the stills produced by a camera lens. With over nine years experience in live television and events, numerous national advertising commercials with a variety of top brands, and several original docu-series, Alaina is that rare artist whose talents truly are all-encompassing.

Alaina has proven that she's one of the few who can inspire growth on a team while continuing to develop her own skill set. As someone who prides herself on staying current with innovative makeup products and trends, Alaina is characterized by an ambition for continuous evolution.

Now, enough about me. Let's shoot together already.
